I'm now three weeks into recovery for foot surgery. Three weeks of sitting, laying down and using a foot dolley to get around so as not to place any pressure on the affected foot.
Yesterday I got out the pilates ring and the resistance bands, and scoured the SP site for exercises that I can start doing over the next 4 weeks.
As usual, SP did not disappoint! I found stretches, chair exercises as well as other exercises that I can modify to do while seated.
In summary, today is the first day I start to rehab my body - I have all the time in the world an no reason not to work on myself now that the doctor has cleared me to do light exercises. I'm pretty happy with myself today.
