My Stinky

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

So when i was young decided that when I found someone worthy of marriage.. I wanted someone I can fart with and be able to have that comfort and laughter like my parents had then we would spend the rest of my life taking turns giving each other dutch ovens.

Every morning I would wake up to hear really loud farts coming from my parents room followed by laughing and then talking. It's one of the few memories I have of good moments at my parents. But I loved it. I loved the comfort. I loved the laughter. I loved the competition they had to see which one was loudest...

I even went as far as telling my *best friend* who is convinced that one day I will marry him that if I ever get married it will be in my wedding vows that I promise to love honor and dutch oven you for as long as we both shall live.
True story.

Just been thinking about those moments of childhood where I woke up hearing my Mommas laughter. Its nice to remember her and laugh and the sillyness she inspired in me thru her own.

And when I do find my prince of fartingham, my stench charming....
we will live happily ever after in a cloud of stink.
Lets hope no one brings matches to our wedding :)

**Just a note. I am in NO WAY looking for my fartner in crime anytime soon.
this is meant to be humor and remembering my mom.

Isn't it interesting what we remember about our parents as we grow up.
I wish you a healthy journey to find the person who you can fart and laugh with. I hope in the meantime you focus on how you can be kind and love yourself emoticon emoticon

No candlelit ceremony? But it could be so explosive. emoticon

The pastor who married us had a speech impediment. I laughed through the entire ceremony. I was giggling so hard I could barely stand up, much less speak. Seriously, he asked if we took each other "for batter or for warts." How could I not laugh. Still gives me a giggle fit when I think about it.

Too cute. Good luck in finding that special person. Personally, I always swat my husband when he farts in bed but I'd rather him be farting in my bed than not be there.
