Week 2: Still going strong!!

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

Okay, so I had some crackers with my soup today... I'm not stressing, because I am still going strong. Not only that but, I said no to chocolate chip cookies at work yesterday!! Homemade ones!! Who am I?! So, I am down a couple more LBS:

205

I think I am ready to take some other measurements now... well, not right now but, soon. I want to start tracking that too.

So, what have I been eating, more like what HAVEN'T I been eating. PROCESSED FOODS!! It was one of my new years resolutions to really try to minimize processed foods and try to eat only fresh fruits, veggies, whole grains, beans, and nuts. So, basically the Fuhrman plan. So far, so good. I feel awesome and have not had hardly any cravings!! I am loving it. Thanks for everybodies support and feedback!!

emoticon i am totally jealous! You are doing so great! Keep up the good work.
Processed food = death. BAHAHa! No, really. I am totally on board with that. Too many preservatives and added chemicals....who wants to put that in their body?

Good for you! I smiled when I saw your comment about the processed foods, as I wrote about that in my Huddle comment today. I have found even though I am saying "no" to the obvious sugary foods, I am still getting sugar in processed items that I did not realize.

    That's AWESOME!

I have celiac disease and say no to lots of cookies (homemade and Girl Scouts, etc.) because they all have gluten in them. I like to smell foods that I can't eat. I take deep inhales, esp of fresh-made breads... LOL I do it all the time and perhaps I look nutty, but it satisfies me. :)

Sounds like a great plan! I made a resolution a few years ago to eat more veggies after reading Dr. Fuhrman's book. I lost those last 10 lbs that never go away, and feel great! (I currently trying to lose them again after baby!) Good luck!

Our foods are so filled with chemicals. It is unbelievable! When I wasd a kid, potato chips would go stale in about two or three hours. Today's chips can sit out for who knows, three or four days and still be crisp!

Make Today a great day!
