Surprisingly easy...

It has been surprisingly easy to lose weight for me. I don't mean easy as in I'm doing nothing and the pounds are just falling off. What I mean is, I typed in my weight, I typed in my goal, I was given a calorie range, and I've been following it, and slowly but surely, the weight has come off. I know I sound like one of those commercials, but I really am still eating food I like, and I'm not exercising like a crazy person. I'm just being healthy. I've hit a few plateaus, but when I look back at my progress, I have lost 40 in 10 months. Do the math, and that averages out to a pound a week, exactly where I want to be. It took time to gain this weight, it's going to take time to lose it.

    Farrah, I agree, and it hasn't been easy in the traditional sense. Some weeks you lose, some weeks you gain, sometimes you think your scale must be broken because it just won't budge! But compared to my old ways; starve myself, lose 5 pounds in a week, eat one plate of pasta and gain it all back, repeat the pattern for 20 years...now THAT was hard!
