Nothing to say today...

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

Being sick does crazy things to you. I have been sleeping all I can. Didn't go to the gym yesterday and cancelled for today. Yet I Managed to run out into the start of freezing rain to cover the BBQ and fill the bird feeder. There is a big storm coming and guests called to ask if they can arrive early. I could not think of a reason to say no except I would have tried to squeeze in another nap. I had soup for breakfast and oh my goodness it hit the spot. I am not sure what I have. Nothing end of the world... seems like more than a cold but most of the mysery is in my head and chest and hips. Head ache. Chills and sweats. The Lysol travels with me so I can clean surfaces I'm in contact with. Don't want anyone else to get sick. I do not want to snow shovel. Nothing to do yet but I feel like I can do little things, rest, then go on. I feel like shoveling 20 cm of heavy snow would do me in... so am waiting for DH to get up and ask if he can possibly work from home today. Kind of pathetic. I pride myself on my independance. Sigh. Ah... the snow just started...

Don't know what it is with this storm - I've had one of my migraines since Monday. Not serious pain or nausea or sensitivity to lights or sound, as long as I don't move. As soon as I start moving - whammo!

emoticon have yourself some tea and watch the snow! You can shovel snow when you feel better. Don't want to over do it! Takes time! You are still independent but sometimes we can use a little help :) have a great day and week!! Sending emoticon for a quick recovery. Judy
