Things I am looking forward to when I lose weight.

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

1) Being able to 'squat", I have not been able to do this in ten years.

2) Being able to walk in 3" heels.

3) Not shopping in the "big girls" section. Shedding those size 2x - 22 clothes

4) not being the biggest female in the room.

5) Being more confident in job interviews.

5) Being able to take my dog for a long walk.

6) Walking at a faster pace.

7) Looking in the mirror, and liking what I see.

8) Having my hubby tell me I look great.

9) Setting a good example for my hubby and my kids, so that they can follow my example.

10) Going to a movie theatre, on a plane, sporting event, in church, when I don't feel uncomfortable. Or feel bad that I am taking up too much space, or blocking someone's view.

11) When I actually get to the point when I enjoy exercise.

12) Buying some hot new clothes in a size 12!!!

My size is a 14, but it's definitely so much better than the 3x tops or size 24 clothes I wore before. I will never be able to walk comfortably in 3" heels LOL. But all of those are great things for you to look forward to. And they are definitely doable. Many of those I'm able to do now that I couldn't do before. I'm rooting for you!

emoticon I'm right there with you on alot of those goals....especially shopping in a regular store and walking in heels. I actually own alot of heels cause hubby likes me in them. But last year gained back a bunch of weight I'd lost before and they're uncomfortable now. Can't wait to wear them more regularly again.

Keep up the good work.

Having lost over 63 pounds I can tell you it feels great especially being in diabetic remission. I still have to lose more weight to get into my tuxedo. Keep focused for success. You can do it. Go for it.

Love it! Not shopping in the big girls section is a big one for me! I love that I can now go in any store and pick out something from any section. It's almost totally strange. How do people handle having this many choices in clothes??? You will be there before you know it!! Great goals!
