We drove out to where the Long Horns are. The Cows were off in the distance, but the Bison were close by. The male Bison walked up to me. At first I didn't know what to think, but he was very gentle. He looked at me for a bit, then went back to eating.

Then they walked off.

On our way to see Rio. The Horse that lives down the road from the ranch.

While we were in the pasture, I spotted what I thought was a bird. I had to laugh after I took the pictures. It was a fake Owl.

We left the ranch, and spotted the Donkeys.

Have a good Wed!

The donkeys are so cute! When I was a child and spent summers in Colorado with my grandparents, aunt, uncle & cousins, we used to go visit the bison - how nice that you have them close by!

The Bison shots were great, I didn't think they were aggressive, but that bull was a little close for comfort, even with a fence. You're one brave lady (says the city kid)!

Thanks for taking me along on your walk...I was really nervous with the bison...they can go through some substantial fences!...not to mention a simple strand of are brave...funny about the owl.

I love the bisons! I have never seen one alive so it is pretty cool. And as far as the fake owl, here in Florida, on some of the waterways by the road, there are large fake ducks to discourage real ducks from congregating there; keeps them safer. I learned that ducks only congregate with like ducks so the fake ones keep them away from the roads. One day I said to somebody, "Man, those ducks are huge! They must eat a lot." And she said, "Those are fake ducks!" emoticon emoticon Have an enjoyable day. Chelsea emoticon

Reminds me of a western film. It is nice to see them and like my Longhorns friendly.

I had to laugh at the fake owl as I have one but it scares off the birds you want as well as the one you don't.
