I now have made my original goal of 195. I have lost more than 10 percent and many web sites suggest that is enough to be significant enough to make a difference in my health. I am pleased to have this landing pad to stand on and reflect about my good progress. I also realize from my reading that I am still considered over-weight from the stand point of my BMI. So, my new goal is to lose 11 more pounds, so I can move into the normal zone for my height. I have also learned that waist - hips ratio for a man should be less than one. I am not there yet, so my additional goal is to reduce this ratio to less than one. I would like to meet these goals by my birthday in May. I like to imagine myself celebrating this next landing in my journey! In the meantime, I know I am healthier now than I was just two months ago!
