A PEACEFUL DAY!

Each one has to find his peace from within. And peace to be real must be unaffected by outside circumstances. - Gandhi
Well I went to bed at 10:30 last night & have had my usual 4 hours of sleep. So what does one do at 2:30 in the morning? Get you Spark on, of course! Yesterday was a really good day for me. After waking up at 6 & Sparking for a bit, I fell back asleep at 9 until 11 while Randy was playing his video game. Poor Larry kept hitting the snooze button but lucky I had everything ready for him to go at 11:15./.;;ZAKL,x (as you can see my kitty Buffer wanted to get a word in too-lol). By noon I was dressed & Randy & I walked up the hill to the neighbor who owns the Construction business. He was really impressed with Randy & was kind of surprised after being told beforehand that Randy was a computer wiz. I think he expected a skinny, scrawny kid. He took one look at Randy & said "Yeah, you will work out great". We are not sure of when he will start. as this week is forecasted for snow showers. I am really proud of him & for the person he has become. We came home then I did a load of laundry & Sparked a little more then I got real drowsy & asked Randy if he would wake me up when the dryer buzzer went off. He did & I got things put away & Sparked a little more. While Randy played his game, I listened to Dan Fogelberg through the afternoon. Then I bit the bullet & wipe out some songs on my MP3 player to make room for some new tunes. I made what I call my "Feel Good" playlist. Motivating & happy songs like "It's a Beautiful Morning" by the Rascals & "Beautiful" by Carole King, etc. I have also read half of my Danielle Steel novel. Then I made dinner & Sparked some more. Whenever I needed a break I would go sit on the back porch & I have done a lot of thinking about my upcoming tests on Friday. After a few prayers, I suddenly felt a sense of total peace wash over me. I am at peace with what is coming up. I feel at total peace regardless of the results. It is a hard feeling to describe, but let me tell you, I have not felt such a sense of peace in a very long time. I am ready for whatever is coming my way.
Affirmation of the Day:
I accept all things with a peaceful spirit.
Got to take a walk with my son
My Son for being such a good man
My Spark Family for their motivation
