Home and braced....

Wednesday, February 27, 2013

I should be sleeping but I wanted to write a blog post. Which would go faster if the stupid phone would quit eating my posts.

I got wrist braces today. Because I have Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, I dislocate (or subjugate) my wrists and thumbs when I sleep. (If you want details, feel free to ask. I had a decent explanation written up, but that's the post that got eaten.) I can also wear them during the day when the pain is bad, like when we're getting a big snowstorm. I wore them the rest of the day after I got them, and they did help.

Tomorrow, though... I have to go to court. Due to a series of bad decisions on my part, which doesn't make me feel any better. Fortunately, I've heard from reliable sources that if you can show the judge that you're working on the relevant situation, he tends to give you an extension. Which is really good, because I would not do well in jail!

Anyway, I'm pretty nervous; this is the first time I've ever had to do anything like this. Good thoughts would be appreciated, greatly.

I haven't told many people. It's not something I'm proud of. Thank you.
