Today was a perfect day! I ate healthy all day, made breakfast, filled up on veggies and limited my soda intake! SO proud! I came in at a perfectly 1552 cal :) yay!
I had oatmeal with 0.75 cup milk and peaches for breakfast
Lunch was simple, peanut butter crackers and carrot sticks with a diet soda
Snack time was indulgent 0.25 cup of crunchy rice noodles and mio lemonade
By dinner time, I was craving carbs for my workout, so I had 0.5 cup whole wheat pasta with 0.5 cup chunky vegetable tomato sauce, sprinkled with 0.25 cup cheddar/mozzarella cheese mix, 5 pepperoni and a sprinkle of parmesan, baked until it was just bubbly. SO YUMMY! Around 400 calories and fooled me into thinking I was eating something very indulgent!
After dinner snack was a small italian style salad with diced ham, bell pepper, pepperoncini, celery, cucumber, parmesan cheese, bacos, croutons and kraft light italian dressing. Low cal and super filling snack!!! I also finally broke down and had my first cocacola of the day (AND ONLY might I add!)
After my snack, my soon to be mother-in-law and I planned the wedding! It's decided, we're getting married on 21 June 2013 at the Chapel at the Park in Gatlinburg, TN! We love the mountains and always vacation in the great smokey mountains national park, so it's only fitting that we should get married there! We're having a really tiny ceremony in a little chapel on the outskirts of the national park. I'm so thrilled! My dream wedding and my dream guy! Perfect day!
My soon-to-be mother-in-law is the sweetest person in the world and she is really a blessing! It's a relief to know I hit the mother-in-law jackpot... after losing my own mom, there's this feminine-companion void, the need to shop and confide and gossip with someone... that a dad just can't fill.... and of course no one could ever replace my mother but Lisa is so sweet to take me in as her own and I could never thank her enough!
All that gushiness aside, we're getting married! and soon! So 115 days until wedding (dress) !!!! I did 30 min. on the elliptical and ate half a protein bar after my workout. I drank all my water and really impressed myself today!! GO ME!
