This morning Martha was trying to find out why one of our dogs was sniffing around one of our heater vents. She used a small flashlight to see what was down there, and there looking back her was a small skunk. We called pest control company and they came out and set live traps.

emoticon Oh oh. We live in the country and have skunks around all the time, but never in the heat vent! My husband uses a live trap to catch them (they LOVE cat food) and carry them well away from the house on the other side of the irrigation canal. Two things to remember, LITTLE ONES STINK JUST AS MUCH AS THE BIG ONES and keep the dog away. lol! Best wishes for a quick removal!
