Daily Motivation Day 31

Tuesday, February 26, 2013

Imagine that you decline someone who offers you a tempting treat because you know it won't fit into your food budget for the day. What do you say? How do you remain firm? How does it feel to know that you are in control of what you eat?

Even my staff have commented that I'm my own worst enemy. I struggle to say no to sweets, even when I know they are wheat based and I'll feel sick. I'm still really struggling with this - I don't remain firm, and I don't feel in control.

Sweets are tough! Try saying "I don't eat that." Instead of telling yourself , I can't eat that. It's amazing how much this has helped. ;) Thanks for the tips!

    I like today's motivation:

There are no short cuts to the places worth going to.

What are my short cuts? 1. over scheduling my days so a workout (even a 20 min yoga session) is too much. 2. not saying no to sweets.

Oh I like these one for rewards:

Put $1 in a jar every time you meet a goal. When it gets to $50, treat yourself.
Go for a spa treatment
Celebrate "100% Days". If you reach 100% of your goals that day, choose two rewards.
Pay someone to do the house cleaning this week. (this would be a real motivator if Hubby would ever agree!)
