Reflect back on what’s been going on in your life these first two months of 2013. What’s the best thing that’s happened in your life this month? Do you feel you are making progress, whether it be physical or mental? Have you experienced any “A-HA” moments or personal victories (large or small)?
2013 has been a busy, busy year so far. The older our kids get, the more directions we all seem to be going!
The best thing that's happened in my life? No way I can pick just one. I am an incredibly lucky person. I am blessed to have wonderful people in my life. Because of those people. I have a lot of "best" moments. A family supper, a comedy show with the hubby, watching a tv series with my son (who still is ok with hanging out with Mom), having my daughter home more often - all of these add up to what I consider pretty great moments for me.
On the health and wellness side - my "best" moment would probably be hitting the 60 pounds lost mark. I worked hard at that!
My "Aha!" moment? I have two I can think of right offhand. One I blogged about earlier - the better I eat, the better I feel. It took me a long time to make that connection. (Duh, I know). The other? I need to change up my routine for better results. I hit a pretty major plateau the first part of this year. I added some new cardio to my workout routine and the numbers started moving again.
2013 has been a pretty great year for me so far. I hope the rest of the year is just as great!
