I cannot tell you how excited I am! I have identified and admitted to the real problem, and I have found a real, solid solution! I feel as if my life has truly just begun!

So to celebrate that, today I went out and got a new hairdo......cut, color, the whole shebang.

Afterall, it's not always/just about the scale. It's about feeling alive, and well! And I haven't felt either of those in a long long time.

And next week I am going to go get a new pair of jeans. No, I am not waiting until I've lost x number of pounds. I have ONE pair, and they were hand-me-downs, and they are worn and frayed. Around the house I usually wear old, ugly sweatpants. So I only have that one pair of jeans to wear outside the house.

And I am tired of the excuses, of waiting until I get down to whatever point on the scale before I buy a pair of jeans. Nope. I spent some cash on a new 'do and I'm going to buy me a new pair of jeans, because I haven't been living. I've been WEIGHTing for my life to begin. And somehow, in the process of WEIGHTing, I got old.

NO MORE!

Time for a new 'do and new jeans to go with the new attitude! Here's to LIVING life, one day at a time, as fabulously as I can!
