The snow we have this go around is sticky heavy stuff. I woke up this morning to something tapping on the bedroom window...come to find out it's the lower branches of the tree behind the house. It has so much snow on it the lowest limbs have leaned over setting on our trailer. My mom woke up to one of their trees leaned over so far it was touching the roof of her car. So, all that said there is not much use for me to venture out in this stuff because it's wet and sticky and that's not much fun unless you're building a snow man or throwing snow balls. I suppose I could always build a snow castle...erm, probably not.
I decided after 8 days straight today would be a good day to take a rest day, hubby insisted I probably don't need a rest day since we're cooped up and being more sedentary than usual (I'm not sure dishes, cooking, vacuuming, and daily tiding up count as sitting still). He's getting fairly pushy about reminding me to do "healthy" things because he's...(hmm, what's the words I'm looking for) struck stupid with my weight loss thus far. While the support is awesome, the fawning over how amazingly sexy I look lately brings up those feelings such as "geez what the heck did you REALLY think of the 350 lb cow you married?"
Anyhow, I thought I'd relax and get in some yoga. Something about yoga in my house between DH, and my dogs just doesn't combine well. I set off and I'm about 20 minutes in and feeling great...really releasing into the stretches. I swear a herd of elephants playing the tuba decided to storm through my living room, knocking me out of Sugarcane Pose...landing me on my shoulder and making so much racket I tensed up worst than before. Okay, so there were no elephants but, DH thought that right that moment was the perfect time to get out the lazer pointer for our 9 dogs who are also suffering from cabin fever. The dogs are only going outside for basic needs because well...when you are 8 inches tall and there is a foot of snow...you get lost.
Well...off to throw some ingredients in the bread machine. Garlic twists with dinner for the DH. I'm very anti-bread lately. Oh, my book did get released today but, the library doesn't have the e-book posted yet it still says "Coming Soon" and well, naturally I'm way too cheap to buy it.
