Tips From FaceBook On Having A Fun Treadmill Workout

Tuesday, February 26, 2013

I came across these tips on FaceBook and knew I HAD to share them with my Spark Friends!! If you have been using the Treadmill to get your work outs in since the Weather is so bad, these Tips will help make those Minutes on the Treadmill More Fun!!

Run laps around the Treadmill until someone asks Why you are doing it. Explain that Running on the Treadmill is Too Boring.

When someone comes in and sets their Water on the Treadmill next to yours, yell "Aide Station!!" and Drink Their Water.

Make sure the Person on the Treadmill next to you sees you checking their Pace, then see how long it is before they start Racing you.

Show up at the Gym in Race Gear, Bib, Fuel Belt, Energy Gels, and Yell "GO!!" when you start your Treadmill.

Give the person on the Treadmill next to yours a Sign and tell them to hold it up when you get to Mile 5.

Very cute...I enjoyed the pics too! I've been treadmilling it for C25K. I feel fortunate to be able to run indoors during the winter months...getting ready for the summer months...and outdoor 5Ks...yay! Hope you have a great weekend! Keep up the good work! Thanks for the encouragement! Spark on! emoticon emoticon

That is so funny. That actually happened to me with the pace thing and the girl next to me. No joke. And it was kind of fun. Luckily neither one of us could run on the thing. :P

emoticon Of course, it is hard to mess with other people's minds when your treadmill is in your house and you are the only one there... but I laughed, anyway. Proving I can mess with my own mind!

Fun blog. My treadmill faces a TV and windows to the front yard & sidewalk. I like watching the critters, i.e., squirrels & birds, along with humans walking their dogs pass by while I'm on it & sometimes catch the neighborhood kids on their way home from school - those weighty backpacks don't look like much fun. And, lest I forget, I get to check on the trees and flower beds.
