C25K Week 5 Day 2 & 3

Week 5 Day 2 was jogging in 8 minute increments. The weather was not so nice that day. The wind was blowing like crazy! I struggled with breathing because of it, I'm already huffin & puffin then trying to jog against it emoticon Made me think of this song emoticon
Yesterday was week 5 day 3 and was jogging for 20 minutes without stopping. I was psyching myself out about it all weekend. emoticon I did it emoticon My speed still has a long way to go but I really didn't think that I was going to be able to do it without stopping! I didn't really look at the next training other than it's increments again. On a side note, I'm having pain in my leg, next to my shin running down my leg. emoticon

    I have just signed up for the team, and am joining my students in the lunch-time running club (I started by walking/jogging). The reminder to stretch is a good one as I was so sore last Wednesday after my first day. I hope you are doing better today! Good job with the 20 minute jog! WOW!

    ouch ...yep ..stretch & then stretch some more..flexing those shins ya know toes up ..toes down will help.
    But you are out there & sticking with it...Hurrah !!!

    Stretch! Especially your hamstrings. If you think you stretched enough... stretch em again!
