Moderation in all things

There are some things we like in life more than others. There are some things in life that we need to do more than others. We need to eat. We need to clean the house. We need to sleep, exercise, make money, have social connections and more. Yet, balancing these necessities can sometimes be a problem. The one word that I can think of with all of these is Moderation. If we don't clean the house at all then we will live in filth. If we don't sleep enough, we will crash. Without social connections we will wilt! Trying to do everything in moderation can be challenging. Doing something not at all can be just as bad as doing something too much. This can be worked on although it may not always be easy. For some, they are very good at going the middle of the road with just about everything. I for one find it easy to be at one end of the spectrum or the other .. All or nothing.... But I have been working at especially eating and exercising in moderation and one thing is for sure..... I feel better.

my Dad had been saying it for years unfortunately he hasn't been living it but his advice is sound and I'm also trying to follow it emoticon

    Good for you on your eating and exercising! I tend to focus on one thing at a time but, moderation and balance are my ultimate goal! Thanks for the reminder!
