Remember playing the game "hot potato" ? We tossed the ball to each other pretending it was a hot potato and we wanted to get rid of it fast so we wouldn't get burned. Holding on too long would cause your hands to get burned.

There are things in life that we hold on to. Sometimes it is a comment that we take as an insult and we hold on to it, wallow in it and it can produce bitterness. If we allow this to stay with us we can let it become detrimental to our goals.

We need to drop those negative feeling like a "hot potato". Dismiss those thoughts forever and get back to goal "bustin".

When you hold on to things like that, you are only hurting yourself. If you can't forgive, you can't be forgiven. We all know that the forgetting is the hardest part, but if you are hold a grudge, LET TI GO!!! It will make you feel so much better.

Sad how those hot potatoes stay with us when we let them and continue to burn us. Why is it that we keep those closer than the many wonderful things that we experience? I'll try to remember this hot potato analogy next time one of those memories returns. Thanks for the positive thinking.
