Well, I haven't blogged for a little while. I've been really wrapped up in a lot of other things and whenever I would sit down, nothing really came out of what I was typing.
Here's my update:
I joined Weight Watchers meetings on February 2nd. I realized that my most successful weight loss had been with Spark Live. Since that's no longer an option, I went with the next best thing. The meeting I found is full of supportive people, and I find the topics of the meetings to be very useful. While I'm not a huge fan of their points system (I find it to be a bit confusing), when I track using both sites, I stay within my means. Weighing in and seeing my success in my booklet is also motivating. I'm really enjoying it. Saturday 9:00 am is the meeting I attend. I make a nice morning out of it by stopping at Starbucks for a skinny vanilla latte on the way to the meeting. Then after the meeting, I usually hit the gym for yoga or body pump before heading home. I find that I look forward to this every week. A whole morning to focus on myself and my journey.
How am I doing? Well, I've lost 12.2 lbs so far...
This journey is ongoing. I'm really feeling very comfortable with it now.
