Well, I'm actually very proud of myself. I managed to avoid take out on friday evening, (making myself a Chicken, rice and Veg dish that had even the men drooling), and to avoid pasties on saturday afternoon (coming home and making an omlette for myself).
I went out saturday night and drank vodka and DIET coke, (a big step for me as I cant stabnd the stuff) and didnt partake of the takout afterwards... I did however have macdonalds on sunday morning as I (the only driver with a clear head) was sent on the hangover run. Still one takeout over the weekend is better than the 4 my hubby had!
I have cooked every night this week, and prepared lunches in advance where ever possible to keep me on track. My head has been well and truly in the game, If I have put weight on this week (well over past two as I missed last weeks weigh in) I wont view it as a set back, ill see it as a learning curve. I managed to survive without take away this week, I can do it again.
Currently there is braising steak in my slow cooker and the smell is driving me insane, making me feel hungry, so as soon as my friend gets here were off on a long walk. Probably be after lunch now. I have another friend who is willing to train me, and help with more exercise. Its starting with a run tomorrow night, and will eventually lead to the gym and weights. I can do it alone, but I dont know what to do properly.
So all in all I think I would rate this week at around a 7/10. Not too bad but could have been much better.
