I figured it was about time for me to post another blog. So here comes the catching up.
Although the weather has been less than appealing for walking, I've been getting in at least a little fitness every day. I'm taking small challenges on Tribesports.com. Each day I've been getting in at least 100 crunches. I was also working on a 30 second plank. The other day I accomplished a 1:00 plank. So I clicked complete on the challenge and now going to find another fun fitness related challenge. I'm hoping once the 2 week 100 crunches a day one is done, I can move up to maybe 200 a day for a couple weeks. Today I also worked on running in place a little. I get so bored with it though. I would much rather be walking outside where there is scenery. But I am working on going through boxes from when we moved as well.. so my running in place wasn't extremely long.
I do know I shouldn't focus on the scale.. but I am so close to the husband's weight I just wanted to see where I was at compared to his weight. I've weighed much more than him for the past few years and knew it would be a big accomplishment once I weighed less than him. BOOM! 181.2 was my weigh in on Sunday. Jeremy's was 181.8. Whoop whoop! So excited. This is the first time in a long time that I've weighed less than him. Now to just keep it that way and put some more distance between our weights.. because while his 181 is closer to his healthy weight because of his height, I do not want to be 181 forever. It isn't a healthy weight for me. I'd be happy around 145-150 but according to the things I've read.. 125-130 is "healthy" for me. We'll see how that pans out. Haha. I'm not necessarily worried about the number.. especially since I'm working on toning muscles as well.
