New experiences and lessons learned...

Today was a long long day...

I only had to work the afternoon which was okay..definitely would've rather a full day, but got to go into the class I love and that loves me, so, I will take a half day....

It was a little girls birthday today....yea, you guessed it...cupcakes....I turned it down originally, but she started to get upset, so I had to eat one...(yes, yellow cupcakes with butter cream frosting...pure torture)

Not to mention the little slice of cake I had for breakfast...but I did eat turkey bacon too, does that make up for it?

Anyways, lunch was decent of my usual turkey meatballs, yum, and an apple....

After school, I decided to take advantage of the decently freezing yet not snowing weather and went for a run...I used my Garmin (love it) watch..I'm not sure of the time...a little over 3 miles in a little less than 50 minutes I believe...not fully sure of that til I download the data...

My normal zumba was cancelled tonight, so I came up with this crazy idea of attending my first aqua zumba class...bathing suits, feared, my first aqua zumba class was torturous...I didn't know the dances (assumed that though), I still look ridiculous in a bathing suit (body issues, still)..but I did enjoy the few minutes of treading water and the quick swim through the deep end...

That being said, I think the most torturous issue is the fact that I lost weight...I bought a new swim suit last was definitely tight on me, but I needed something somewhat relatively I suffered with it...well I haven't worn it in a I put it on, and isn't as nearly tight as I remember..which is good right? Right...issue though...I lost weight in my, umm, chest a bathing suit doesn't quite hold up as well as it should...which is troublesome when jumping around in water....

That being said...I get to shop for a new bathing suit!

So maybe my blog title wasn't quite as appropriate, as this was just a recap of today..but oh well...

Hope everyone enjoys their night!

Maybe you can get a sporty model that's great for water fitness activities.

I love Aqua Zumba - I've even recruited some of my friends to join me. And don't worry about not knowing the "moves"... you're under water, no one can see you emoticon

I love aqua aerobics/dance of all types. Good for you for getting out of your comfort zone and putting on a bathing suit. I wear a black lycra jog bra from Walmart under my black racer-style bathing suit when I get in the water. It decreases the bouncing of the "girls" and there are no wardrobe malfunctions. LOL Keep up the good work and have a great day! emoticon
