I work 9 hour days so that every other Monday I have a flex day. Today is my flex day. I got up this morning and did a work out before breakfast. Have been reading and hearing that it kicks your metabolism up if you do that. On normal days, I am up at 5am and at work at 6:30. The thought of getting up earlier than 5 doesn't do it for me. As it is, I go to bed at 10, so I am only getting 7 hours of sleep each night. Think that is part of my not losing weight very fast.
Quilting today. Have put it aside over the last two months. Mainly doing exercise in my spare time. Seems like I can't do both, however quilting is so relaxing for me. Enjoying a relaxing afternoon.
Lex is coming for dinner tonight. Having a good dinner with lots of vegetables, then watching Biggest Loser. We call it our Last Chance Workout, even though we both weigh in on Wednesdays. It is just a great time to bond - Mother / Daughter - and motivate each other.
