Beautiful and so true! I always like smiling at people *just in case* it might brighten their day somehow. Some people just really need to see a friendly face sometimes (including me!). Love this, thanks for posting!
I really like the poem and it is SO true. When I was in high school, this young girl seemed shy and I smiled and said "hi". We became friends and she later told me that that smile helped her not kill herself, she had been thinking about it. I have never forgotten. Thank you for helping me remember something special. Have a wonderful week! Love, Chelsea P.S. I hope it is okay if someday I share the poem and my memory in a blog? Let me know.
I so love this. I make it part of my daily job to smile and greet everyone that walks into the hospital doors where I work. It means so much to most to see a pleasant person and get a warm greeting when they are there in most cases to visit someone very sick, maybe even dying. It also shares joy with visitors visiting a new born. A smile is so important to everyone giving and receiving it.
