I just have to brag about my major sale score.
I've been needing to update my yoga shirts. I have two I wear all the time (same shirt, I like to buy multiples of the same thing when I find something I like). I got them at Marshall's (or some similar discount place) years ago and they're both showing their age. They're form fitting tanks but the bust area is getting a bit stretched out. This is no good when you're trying to do plow and you're scared your boobs will crush your face.
That's plow and trust me, if you have a larger bust and a flimsy shirt you WILL feel like your boobs are going to crush your face.
And one of my shirts has a wee hole in the stomach area. Not along a seam, just in the main fabric which is just bummy looking (for studio yoga).
SO. . .I needed new yoga shirts.
I had been lusting for some of the "high end" ones you get at a "real" store (not the bargain basement stuff I get from Marshalls/TJMaxx). There's nothing wrong with bargain basement stuff but you know how that is, you want the cute shirt with bright colors and flower print, not just the utilitarian gray.
Since this weekend was a shopping fest with my sister, we hit up REI while we were out and about (partly to give my hubby a store he'd enjoy going to, not just craft stores and thrifts--though he does like a good thrift).
I love the REI clearance racks. As is the nature of clearance racks, sometimes you have good clearance karma and sometimes you don't.
I had FABULOUS clearance karma.
Two Lucy brand tanks:
Original price: $55
My price: $12.83 each
One Prana brand yoga tank:
Original price: $60
My price: $14.83
Original Total: $170

HAH!! I got THREE shirts for LESS than the price of ONE!
Now that's what I call a sale!!
I can't wait to wear one to yoga tonight.
