2x week yoga: YES
1x week "other" exercise: NO
1x week Deck: NO
Yes, I was lasy this week. I chose to do less because I had a houseguest Friday through Sunday afternoon and I just don't like feeling self conscious about my exercise and acting all uppity like "oh, I have to do my exercise before we have any fun". Yes, my guest was only my sister but I still feel like that's rude. I could have squeezed in some exercise on Friday evening before she arrived but I chose to craft instead so I could be on the first floor of the house to greet her the minute she arrived. That was actually a good idea because it freed the exercise room up for my hubby. The weather didn't cooperat this week so I couldn't get a walk in during the work week (I missed my one nice day--bah to that). And Sunday I was tired after a weekend of shopping and just being wacky with my sister that I didn't want to do the Deck (at 6 p.m.!).
I'm ok with the choices I made in regards to my exercise this week.
Tracking: NEW PERSONAL BEST!! FOUR DAYS in a row in ranges!! OH YEAH. Friday, Sat and Sunday I was over. Friday I did very well and even re-arranged my food to accommodate free pizza at work and probably could have salvaged a "maintenance level" day but my sister arrived that evening and we went out to eat so that eating out meal was all over levels.
Saturday and Sunday I willfully didn't track. I was out running around and had some snacky stuff (candy, etc) and each day I only managed about one real meal each day (eating out meal) so I may not have gone too wild calorie wise but it was "old thinking eating".
F/V: Again, did find M-Th. Friday I had a few less thanks to the pizza event and eating out. Sat and Sun I had zippo each day which there is NO reason/excuse for. I could easily have had at minimum some breakfast fruit but I simply didn't. I think I let myself get a bit swept up in "old eating". I enjoyed being in that mode just a bit which was not good (not that I over ate, but I just really reveled in eating poorly--meaning quality/quantity).
No extra food on work days: Again, I did well here because I maintained ranges M-Th. Friday I feel was also acceptable since I had planned for the pizza and pop I had during the work day. Though I did have a bit more pizza pop then I should have (I totally drank some "boredom" pop--the speaker we had at our meeting was so dull I wanted to run screaming from the room).
All chores pretty much go pushed to Sunday. I did give the bathroom an official cleaning first thing in the morning (after my shower) which I was proud of. Then once my sister left, I tidied the other rooms (with my hubby's help--he broomed the floor). I also did a few loads of laundry, changed the sheets (still need to wash the dirties), and even put away all clean laundry and went through my dresser and purged old/nasty clothing (and added to the rag pile and thrift piles accordingly). Thrift bag is now upstairs and will be taken to the thrift on the weekend. Cat box wil be done this week because I was out of trash bags (that peed me off!--with all that shopping I had tons of chances to get garbage bags but didn't realize I needed them until I went to get one--of course!).
Crafty clean up: I've been good about only keeping active projects at the kitchen/sewing table. I do need to take a handful of items from the holding chair (that's where I sit things that need to go up to the craft room since I just can't abide making a trip just for one wee thing) up to the craft room. The craft room itself does need more organizing.
Sent out some swaps today. I'm currently working on a pair of dotee dolls for a swap and then have to whip out an easter themed one (for next week's trip to the post office).
This week we're having a model in our painting class so I won't be working on my regular paintings. I didn't do the model last semester so I'm really keen to do it this time. I'm awful at it but it's a fun challenge (and it means I won't have to drag nearly as much stuff with me to class, which will be a nice change of pace).
I need to be careful how many dotee swaps I get involved in right now because I do want to do some non-swappy projects (the giant squid and work on my postage stamp quilt). This weekend I plan to have a dotee marathon and get quite a few ready for when the swap partners are assigned.
Grateful journal is going well.
Grade for the week: BC I debated giving a high C or a weak B, and decided a high C was a better choice. I did SO much better with tracking that it really needs recognized. But I can't overlook the weak exercise and weak weekend (with major f/v flaws). While I had planned to not be super strict over the weekend, there were definitely places I could have tried harder (again, the f/v thing) so that's what kept me from feeling a weak B was acceptable.
160s by May!!
I've proven to myself I can do the tracking and it wasn't such a chore. Time to beat my 4 days in a row personal best and get serious about this schtuff!
