Answer to Disney Question - with Pictures Again!

Monday, February 25, 2013

Yesterday Aquagirl asked if Gwen got her haircut at Disney. Now that's a hard question to answer. My husband says no, but my daughter says yes! Actually, DD didn't want much cut off so Gwen got just a bit of a trim. She also got her hair pulled back and some pixie dust. Usually she pulls hair bows/clips/barretts/bands out right away, but she left it in for most of the day. The hair cutter was sweet as can be and gave Gwen stickers and toys throughout the process. Gwen also got a hat with ears that says "First Hair Cut", some trimmed curls preserved for momentos, and a certificate of first haircut at Disney World.

Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo does make-overs for little girls. They get hair extensions - some in pink or purple and some match their hair color -- and a variety of services. I've heard some people pay $60 and some pay $200! Well, for Natalie we had her hair put in a pony tail and she got some pixie dust for $5 at the Barber Shop. She was as happy as if she'd had the whole Bibbidi experience!

Gwen and Natalie look cute, cute, cute!!! You know who steals the show in that last picture? Gary with his "Cat In The Hat " hat on! What a softie he is when it comes to Gwen and Natalie!!! He can expect some teasing at the team dinner!

I just love Disney, and it was great to see some little-girl makeovers from the inside! (I'm also glad that they were pleased with a minimal makeover!)

It is good to have fun memories of being a child, since it stays with a person our whole lives long.
