I need YOU, yes YOU friend in the USA willing to go to Walmart for me...

Monday, February 25, 2013

I NEEEEED more Kool-Aid flavour sachets!!

The itty bitty ones with no sugar or sweetener, just the flavour stuff.

When I was in the US, they where 5 for $1

I use them to make jelly (jello) in better flavours!

I know Walmart had lots of flavours, and I got more flavours in HEB and Randalls but I think those are local, or at least only Texas.... anyways... you may know where to get a million and one flavours from like I brought home with me!

Everything except lime... lime is nasty.

I have paypal, will pay of course for the cost of them and shipping to the UK.

If you could help me one of my Sparkfriends (who I know a bit better please, not happy giving address/money to totally random stranger) would you please let me know.

I'm down to my last few sachets!!!! emoticon (I bought 70 back from Texas!)

I do want a fair few, like 5 of every flavour you can get a hold of for me!

I'm perfectly willing to join your wagon train! hehe

However...you might check the WalMart website. I know it's a stretch, but if you buy a certain monetary value of a combination of things, they say they deliver free. I've done this a lot, and it's great.

I have no idea how that would work out of the country. They probably have some restriction. Worth checking, at least.

I get the sugar-free gelatins a lot. Kool-Aid brand varies, depending on sales. Sometimes I see it 10-for-$1. WalMart brand is every bit as good IMO, and usually a bit cheaper. Kool-Aid is coming out with a bunch of new blends. I generally buy real bulk loads of lemonade flavor and mix that in combination with something else to make my own custom mixes. I make up 2 quarts at a time, with 2 packets of mix (in each 2-qt bottle) and one cup (or thereabouts) of sucralose. It's just about my standard drink, other than water.

If you need rotational "shoppers," put us on a list! I'm sure we'd be happy to form a shopper's co-op ... in both directions! LOL

If you still need folks to send you kool aid packets, just let me know. I'll check out the average prices in the stores near me (I haven't purchased kool-aid in so long, I have no idea how much it costs anymore).

Have you tried brands other than kool-aid? Wyler's makes the same type of item (drink mix powder in fruit flavors with no added sweetner). I know as a kid Wylers was considered "poor kool-aid" (meaning your mom wouldn't slurge to buy you kool-aid) but it tasted very much the same.

Of course, I would be happy to get them for you! To be clear, you're talking about the powder, you put in your water, right?!? You just "turn them into jello"?
