I signed up for this Virtual 5K to be walked/run March 31 - April 6. Started training Saturday with 30 minutes of combo walking running. Three minutes walking then two minutes running repeated for 30 minutes. I am happy to say I was able to do this without any problems. I was very surprised to find out I am in better shape than I thought. I guess this is why we have to challenge ourselves to see how far we can go. I am going to try to get this 5K done in 40 minutes or less. I will definately have to do some running to get it done in that time frame. Hopefully my vacation next month won't mess up my training for this.
