A Wii game I can work with

Monday, February 25, 2013

I was out yesterday with the family, and we ventured into Game Stop. My husband and daughter are really into the Skylander game, and get a new figurine as a reward when my daughter does something really well. I was walking along the walls looking around and I saw The Biggest Loser game for the Wii. I got really excited, because I knew we had a Wii at home (that I had never used before). I bought the game with a spring in my step and decided that this morning would be the morning to try it. I signed into the system and filled out my information- and more embarassingly, my weight. I chose my avatar- Bob. Because, as I told my friend, his avatar is equally yummy to look at! I did a half hour workout, and I felt like that was a great place to start at. I didn't want to jump into it and end up injuring myself, or psyching myself out. I did punches and stretches and even yoga (omg the upside down dog pose or whatever that thing is called kicked my butt!). I can honestly say that I am happy that I bought the game :) and hopefully I'll be able to use it to my advantage!

Great!! I use my Wii too and eventhough I'm working out alone it feels like I"m not! I love Bob; he's a great motivator without all that yelling and screaming (even if he's just a video friend for now) and as you said he isn't bad to look at either!! Good luck with your new "game". I guess if you look at it that way it's not a "work"out at all. Have fun!! emoticon

Great! I love working out with video games. It's fun and interactive. Downward dog is a tough yoga pose but it's so good for your balance and flexibility!
