I think my food mishap last week gave me the kick in the pants to get my act together. I felt so bad over the binge eating incident that I have more than made up for it. I have experimented with new healthy recipes, eaten extremely well and exercised like crazy. I am trying to eat on the larger end of my calorie range since I am exercising more and I can tell the difference. My official weigh in day is not until Friday for the Biggest Loser Challenge and on Saturday for the 5% challenge and I have already lost 2 pounds. YAHHHHH
So my goal for the remainder of the week:
1-Stay in my calorie range every day
2-Eat more veggies
3-Exercise a minimum of 40 minutes per day
4-Throw in more Strength training
5- Try to get at least one more family fitness in before Friday.
I am happy to report that Friday night I took the kids swimming and Saturday I took them Bowling. I am going to try and get another healthy fit exercise in with the kids before Friday.
This weeks new food experiments have been crock pot Venison stew and Blackened shrimp w/ asparagus and I tried a blood orange. I will be searching for a few other recipes to try out on the family. So far the family likes everything I have cooked so far.
