Step-Back Week in Training

Monday, February 25, 2013

This week I have a "step-back" week in my marathon training program so my weekend long run is shortened to give a little break, which is good because I'll be going out of town for the weekend. Here is the plan for this week:

Monday: Rest/ Dog walk
Tuesday: 3 miles
Wednesday: 7 miles
Thursday: 4 miles
Friday: Rest
Saturday/ Sunday: Crosstrain one day for 45 minutes/ Ten mile run the other day

    Isn't it funny that you can get to the point at which the 10 mile long run is taking it easy for the weekend? Hope your runs this week are excellent.
