I had a pretty good weekend. I got a ton done, had some great quality time with the kids, I tracked all my meals, and I didn't gain! (Even lost weight...only .2 pounds, but hey, it still counts, right?)
On Friday I got the results of bloodwork that stated that I was allergic to cats (which I already knew), also borderline allergic to cedar and more interestingly, wheat.
I don't have celiac's because I believe that was one of the battery of tests my rheumatologist ran at my first visit (2 years ago) but I have long suspected I might have some sort of food intolerance anyway. The results were low so I am not even sure what that means (do I need to cut out all wheat? Or just not overdo it? Do I go on as normal and just deal with the symptoms since they're not sooooo bad?).
Ultimately I think I'll need to visit an allergist for the real skinny, but in the meantime, I'm trying to stay away from a ton of grains anyway, so this is even more incentive. If this helps in any way with my laundry list of annoying symptoms (joint pain, brain fog, fatigue, unending sinus issues, bloating, and - TMI - "regularity" issues) I would be elated. So we'll see!
Anyone else have a mild wheat allergy? How do you deal?
I hope everyone had a great weekend, happy Monday!
