I am starting a 21-day Daniel Fast today. It was recommended by my Dr. so I can get the crap out of my diet. No sugar, no processed foods, no meat. I have been gluten-free since the new year, so I will continue that as well. I have my recipes printed and went grocery shopping yesterday. I know I have the tools I need to do this- and I know I won't starve, but for some reason I am still scared. I am not sure what I am scared of exactly. I'll report back soon!
I made a delicious gluten-free vegan vegetable soup for dinner. My 3 year old son sat down to the bowl, smelled it and said "MMMMM" he actually ate it all! My hubby said "I could eat like this every day". I felt satisfied after dinner and didn't have a snack after that.
I had a headache at night, and ended up taking some ibuprophen at 3am...but other than that I would say Day 1 was a complete success!
