Everything Changes

Monday, February 25, 2013

Today is an 'anniversary' date that makes me think... it was my parents wedding anniversary as well as my own - almost 20 years ago (WOW)... I have been divorced for 10 years and well - I have to affirm that YES everything changes.

I'm a better person I was 10 years ago. The changes I went through - some were not by choice, but I am stronger for it. Sure it wasn't easy, but it was all worth it. When times get tough, I know that they will not last, but I will.

It's a new week and time to get back to business to reaching my health goals. My plan is to NOT watch TV at all this week and since I didn't do my morning workout, I will plan to do one as soon as I get home from work before dinner.

At work, it's time to buckle down and focus to get my report done by Friday (well at least a good first draft for people to look at).

Eating wise - looking to keep it as clean as I can and cutting out the booze again so going to be AF (alcohol free). Lord knows this vacation month I have had more than my share. Time to detox in many ways.

Here's to the new week and to positive changes!!

Imagine how BORING life would be if things did not change-
but does it have to be so constantly???
These last 6 months, I have been anticipating my dear professor's passing every day (not wishing for it, mind you) and now that it has happened I am feeling so up-in-the-air about everything!

Change is good, sometimes it's hard but necessary. That is where I currently stand. You have come so far with your goals, It's a great day to celebrate you, your successes, and how far you have come.

Great blog. Very true on things changing. We are not the same as we once was. Some good changes and some worst. Need to work on the worst ones. If I stopped watching TV I would have so much time to get things done. I need to limit it.
