200 Pound Quest - Week 7 - The Week in Review

I got that whoosh I've been waiting for the past 3 weeks and passed my first mini-goal. Yay!

In all, it was a great week and I accomplished the following goals:

Participate in online communities at least 3 days
Complete at least 1 daily Striiv Challenge at least 5 days
Completed week 5 of EA Sports Active 2 9 week Easy Program
Lose 1-2 pounds per week
Average 30 minutes per day of physical activity
Ate at least 5 servings of fruit and vegetables per day for at least 5 days
Read Part I of This is Why You're Fat
Averaged 30 minutes per day of physical activity for 3 weeks
Ate 5 servings of vegetables per day for three weeks
Fit into Size 30 jeans
Lose 10 pounds

    More congratulations!! You're making great progress on SO many fronts there! After you read This Is Why You're Fat (I'll have to take a look at that...), read Dr. David Kessler's The End of Overeating; it's what prompted me to lose 70 lbs. and maintain that loss. The processed food industry really has our number and knows how to tweak its "creations" for ultimate tastebud allure, unfortunately. All the best to you; you're doing emoticon

    Thanks for all the great comments :) The mini-goal was actually 10 pounds lost, the other things are various other goals that I hit at the same time.

I found this blog this morning and just had to post to you and encourage you and uplift you that your "quest" can be done! emoticon

Please read my spark page and my "Paula's Wall of Never's" that I came up with this year (2013). Building my "wall" has really helped me to keep things going for me. Next month, I will celebrate being on my "journey to the new me" for 4 years. emoticon

    You go girl! Thats a mitey ling list for a "mini" goal! I'm 2 pounds away from my first step goal of 300....we can do dis! Keep up tha fabu work!
