Getting a head start

Usually I do not expect to work out on a Sunday. I'm not home from church till well into lunch time, and who wants to miss his after-lunch nap? After napping I tend to want to Spark and putter at a bit of chores and then make some supper.

My usual plan is to run-train on Mondays, Wednesdays and one other day. This week, though, we go to the 'city' on Tuesday for GS's 4th birthday : ) Then I work Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as a grade 4/5 teacher. I'll definitely be too tired to exercise those days!!! What to do but front-load the training sessions as much as possible?

So I dreadmilled today. Go in 5 k on a 5% incline in 60 minutes. No record, but it was enough to burn 721 calories so who's complaining? I'll do approximately the same tomorrow and then take a break till Saturday. On Saturday we go back to the 'city' as DW wants to attend a Scrapbooking Crop Session at Michael's. While she's doing that I'll run--either on the indoor track at the University or outdoors with some of the family members with whom I'll be running the Sun Run in April.

Weigh-in tomorrow. I'm all antsy. It *could* be a good one as I've been conscientious about nutrition and exercise for the last while. Fingers crossed that I'll dip below 148!
