Discouraged

Monday, February 25, 2013

Well, I've been eating in the right calorie range and exercising every day. I not only gained the plateau pound back, but another one as well. If not for my husband's daily encouragement I would quit at this point because I get no where unless I do a full liquid diet. I feel like I've been retaining all the required water I drink and today I drank no water. My attitude could use an overhaul. Hope others are having a better weight loss week :)

Thank you. All of you are so encouraging. Perhaps I should start weighing myself weekly instead of daily. :) emoticon

we have all been there. you just have to keep pushing and don't give up. the scale only shows numbers it doesn't show how you feel and how your clothes are fitting better. emoticon emoticon

  Ditto with the previous comments.
Important thing is keep trying and pushing ahead. The scale really is just one of the way to measure your progress.
Fact is, I did not weigh myself for a long time when I started (because I don't own a scale and also I don't want to feel down on what the scale readings say).
But I know I am making slow but steady progress with how I feel, emotionally, energy wise and how my clothes fits me.
Some people lose more weight when they started the journey and slow down as they near their goal weight while others take time to lose weight.
This is a lifelong marathon, not a sprint. Don't be too hard on yourself.
Keep it up and don't give up. Otherwise, the next time, you will have to start all over at the beginning.
Cheering you on. emoticon

Don't pay so much attention to the scales. The scales don't tell everything. If you know you are eating properly and exercising just relax about it all. You are doing your body wonders by eating well and exercising, but you won't be if you limit your water intake and go on a full liquid diet. It's not good for you. Breathe and relax and don't be so hard on yourself. You will get there! emoticon
