I ran my first ever 5 minute block today

As simple as this may seem, this was a very difficult task for me. I am so proud to say that i did this. After major foot reconstruction,potential blood clots in my legs, all kinds of aches, pains and other things. I am still trying to do this running thing. I will get there, slowly but surely. I did it, now to make the net goal of 6 minutes straight.

    congratulations! what an achievement for you- I went from barely 2 min on the exercise bike to 10 min, 3x a day- it feels wonderful. emoticon emoticon

    So, so proud of you. I don't know you but I can certainly relate. Keep it up and a year from now you will look back and 5 minutes will be a small stepping stone to where you will be then. Now get working on the 6th minute and keep up the great progress.

    Oh Hon, I am soooo proud of you. With a history of bad feet and still you are determined. I have never ever ran. Unless the elliptical counts haha. Congrats and you have a right to be VERY proud.
