As promised, I've taken pictures of the scrapbook I've started to capture my weight loss journey. The first page as you can see has my starting weight from when the picture was taken. I used parchment paper and printed my information from the computer.
The second page is my 'introduction' printed on parchment paper. It has pretty much the same information as my 'intro' on my sparkpage with a few alterations. The pictures are from Cadillac Mountain in Acadia National Park (Maine). I have set a goal to climb the mountain this coming September.
The third page is to log 'pounds lost.' Each foot print is from separate weigh in's (weekly) which totals the weight I've lost thus far (first week was four pounds, the second was also four pounds, so added together to give me 8lbs so far). I had gotten sick over Christmas and gained back the weight I lost, so I essentially have started over (thus only two foot prints). As I'm sure you noticed, I'm incorporating some familiar symbols/inspiration to tie in certain themes.
In the pages to follow, I plan to capture my routines (Zumba and walking) as well as other significant things that help me along my journey. I got my base materials from Wal-mart and a dollar store. I'm very open to hearing suggestions for future pages and hope this has 'sparked' some of you to find different ways to build motivation. This has been very helpful because it forces me to really consider the things I have already completed. When I'm having a bad day, I know I'll have this book to look back and remember everything I've already accomplished.
