Nutrition Challenge- Day 21

One week left! Ate too many plantain chips yesterday, but they helped satisfy some cravings (may have spent many hours yesterday talking about a future margarita & nachos date with the husband). I also attempted to make a sugar-free, challenge friendly pumpkin "cake" and it was disgusting. It worked though, not craving cake anymore ;)

WODs:

Friday-
3 Rounds for time:
7 Push Jerks (205/143) (78# from the rack)
17 WB Shots (20/14) 14# @ 9ft
77 Double-unders (singles 2:1)

Time: 10:43

I liked this WOD. The reps were all manageable and it was over before I knew it.

Saturday-
Hang Power Snatch:
2-2-2-2-2 (PR @ 73#)

3 Rounds for time:
20 Hang Power Snatch (below the knee) (I used 43#)
30 Walking Lunges

Time: 9:13

Those HPS were worse than I thought! I did the second round in 2 sets (10 & 10) and the last round in 4 (5-5-5-5). My quads were burning after just a few lunges. I was so happy when this one was over. I definitely didn't have any problems popping the bar off my hips. I have the bruises to prove it!

Sunday-
Open Gym
Back squat to a heavy single (up to 173#, my current PR, could have been a little deeper)

Strict Press (80.5#, 1/2# PR. Was hoping for 83# but it just wasn't happening, but was determined to PR, so used the itty bitty plates)

Parallel Bar Dips
3 x 8 with red band

They just posted tomorrows WOD. I was planning on going in but...21-15-9-15-21 Clusters. Rest between rounds but...still. Gross. We'll see ;)
