"Lack of activity destroys the good condition of every human being, while movement and methodical physical exercise save it and preserve it." ~Plato

The better we feel about our selves the better atmosphere we create around us. Making other people happy as well. And if you are enthusiastic about exercising you might pass it on to someone who's not active and change their life.

Spread happiness.. start exercising! emoticon

Since joining spark my goal is to be healthy. With a 15 lb loss..eating healthier & adding ecercise daily..I set another goal.....

I purchased a new heart/pedometer watch at my favorite Costco with a total vision.
I never realized how this personal goal I am commited to of 10,000 steps would be my bigger picture challenge. Seriously, I have bp numbers zig~zagging daily so this is my personal passion.

Each day I've been adding more steps I've noticed I'm building more confidence in me bigtime...

"Studies of senior citizens who walk regularly showed significant improvement in memory skills compared to sedentary elderly people.
Walking also improved their learning ability, concentration, and abstract reasoning. Stroke risk was cut by 57% in people who walked as little as 20 minutes a day."

When you exercise regularly your less prone to get depressed than someone who doesn't.....Walk it's good for you! emoticon

This is all so true. I love to walk & feel down when I do not. I have a FitBit & it really motivates me to see if I can attain just a few more steps each day. Way to go on your goals!

My own BP zig zags all over the place. BP meds are mostly all deadly for me so I do have to rely on diet, exercise and God to help me keep it down. Not an easy task. Blessings to you in your endeavours to lose and keep it down, both the BP numbers and the weight.

It does help a lot to track your steps, I'm afraid I haven't been doing as well this winter; need to get back to it. emoticon emoticon emoticon emoticon
