Another Update

It has been a while since the last blog.
Still not feeling up to par.
Headache is a little better but still not sleeping well.

I am tired all the time and just not up to working out like I did.
Yes, I still go to the gym on a regular basis but not whole heartedly.
I force myself to do more walking to make up for the lack of enthusiasm to move the body.

Have slacked off when it comes to eating.
Have been doing way too much snacking.
Poor choices and way too much.

It is never too late to shift my thinking and actions.
I will approach life with renewed dedication and see if things shift for the better.

In the meantime, thanks to all the Sparkers out there.
It is a fantastic feeling to know I am not alone.

    You are definitely not alone and you are absolutely correct that it is never too late to change your habits by making new ones. It is also never too late to take good care of yourself. We're here for you. Carry on with all the good things you're accomplishing.

    I'm here with you. Sleep problems lead to bad decision-making for me. It helps just to be aware of that.

    I'm rooting for you. I'm sorry you're not completely over the headache and are having problems sleeping, but you have made SOME progress, and that's the direction you want to be going in. I applaud you for going to the gym. Could be your lack of enthusiasm is because you aren't resting well and you don't feel 100% yourself, but I think some moderate activity will help, especially if you don't overdo it and keep listening to your body. I'm also glad you're looking at this as a way to renew your dedication to making this your best life possible. I know from experience that one thing these rough times do for us is remind us that we CAN feel better and give us the desire to feel that way again. Keep taking steps in the right direction. Little by little, you will get back to where you want to be.

I hope you begin to feel better soon. Keep taking the small steps-listening to what your body is telling you. It is more important now than ever to take care of yourself.
A period of rest is sometimes necessary. Try to get your rest, hydration, and nutrition.
As you put it so well, you can always re-focus, Remember, our plans sometimes need to be changed to fit our current circumstances. Life fluctuates and doesn't always go as planned. However, every moment offers the opportunity for the changes we desire.

    When you're not well it's easy to slide into poor habits.
Take care of you hun, and I hope your doc can sort out your headaches.
Just try to eat well for now, give yourself a break.

    Pain is one of the hardest things to deal with. Be it emotional or physical, it is the thing that wears me down quickest. I feel for you, Dear Friend. Perhaps going into maintenance mode for a spell will allow your body to recoup a bit. Give yourself a break. I have had to remind myself over and over........ Journey not a race. It does help. What doesn't help is being hard on yourself. HUGS!

    We're never alone here as long as we are willing to check in and comment on the teams/boards/blogs, etc. Things like that can help pick us up again. Hope you're feeling even better real soon.

    Glad the headache has improved. Be gentle with yourself and take baby steps. You'll be back in a better habit of good routines again before you know it. Your body has been through so much.

    I'm hoping to feel better soon too and get my energy back. In the mean time I am exercising more and trying to get in a walk every day. emoticon
