I have been avoiding any stores that have Girl Scouts selling cookies out front. I am too weak to pass them and not buy any since I too am a former Girl Scout. My weakness is the same as others have mentioned - the mint chocolate ones!
And as a former Girl Scout, former Leader, and Cookie Task Force Manager, for over 30 years...I appreciate it! Thank you for supporting Scouting.
And we have..for the first time in our 39 years ... not bought ONE single box! My husband, and our now grown up daughters, are marveling over this fact! LOL! We were a big Girl Scout Family. It was a big part of our family life.
Just don't finish the whole box in one sitting. Work a few into your food tracking for the day. Enjoy!
Tomorrow is a new day. If you have not eaten them all by now do what the others said have one serving every day until they are gone. I put them in the freezer and get them one serving at a time.
Oh yea me too, darn it, haven't had any in over 8 or more years, and voila , the peanut butter package sitting there all alone with one last package left. Guess who had to buy it ?? Oh of course. Wow are they good, not so good for me.. taste great though. I am giving the rest away before they become history.. On ward and upward and leaving the them behind..
I bought my favorite mint chocolate and put them in the freezer. I am not good about eating only a few at a time, so I really have to watch myself when I get them out.
Just portion them out into your nutrition plan, maybe as part of a snack with something that has protein and less Carbs to it or some Vegetables like carrots and celery. Then you can have them and not feel guilty. They are part of your daily meal plan!
