It's snowing outside, the house is not as warm as I'd like it to be, I don't feel like blogging, I'm feeling crabby and grumpy today. Thank heavens there are no cookies in the house! Started on the 17 day diet, definitely going to overcome resistance to vegetables on this program. Think I'll sit in front of the kitchen window and watch the birds at the feeder. Do they ever get covered in snow, or do they just fly between the flakes? emoticon

I roast a lot of veggies or steam them. I have posted a couple pics with roasted veggies in my blog and plan on continuing to post pics of my food.

Roast the veggies! It brings out the sweetness, especially carrots! emoticon
Come to think of it--I have not seen a bird covered in snow...unless it was a dove sitting on the ground for awhile! emoticon

emoticon We eat a lot of veggies and I am finding ways to increase that. On a cold day some veggie soup or pot of beans is a great way to get in your veggies. Enjoy a good reason to hibernate! I lift my cup of hot tea to you.
