That awkward moment when..

you realise its been over a year (maybe even two) since you paid any real attention to your nutrition, health or fitness. As a result you have forgotten the basics of how to eat healthy, and lost all motivation as you attempt to start at square one again.. only to realise that you cant remember how or where to start. Depressing really.

* Sigh* ..any tips, advice, help at this stage is much appreciated.

    Hello Lovely!!! It's been awhile!! And I have been off here since before my wedding Sept 2012 - all I can say is that I have not eaten healthy since before then!! And I have gained 10lbs!!
I am starting back at square one again :( And it sucks! BUT I have no choice - my health has been affected by this as well as my emotions of loving myself!

    I've only just seen this blog! :(

I find myself in the exact same boat quite often... And even now, I find myself trying to make a menu for a healthy week and my mind is blank...What is healthy? What can I eat and what shouldn't I eat?

Small steps. One meal at a time. That's how I try to get back on board.

    You have the info, SP provides the resources. You are capable of making your life over. I too restarted my health journey after nearly 3 years, and I had an easier time adding exercise before overhauling my eating. So I would say to you, experiment, and make small, easy changes.

    Pick one thing. Whether it's tracking food, or cutting out soda or chips or something else, or walkign 15 minutes a day.
Just start. The rest will follow.
