Got in my outside walk today and the weather was beautiful. Hubby even volunteered to come with me and not try to outpace me. Good thing too since about 1.5mi in my HIIT timer was on the fritz and I'm pretty sure I jogged more than I walked and my knee got all tweaky and owie on me so I had to slow waaaaaaay down in order to finish the almost 4mi we did. So long as I went slow enough, it didn't hurt so I'm hoping it was just all the kneeling on it from yesterday making it grumpy at me because any more injuries and the HM will be completely out of reach and I know it.
So today I'll be looking at training plans and trying to put something together that will have me jogging 3-4xs per week in a sensible manner to see if I can't make the HM work. I'll be doing Turbo Jam starting up on Monday so I'll likely be hitting the trails Tues/Fri/Sat/Sun (probably just Sat or Sun to start with). I'll figure out a way to try out some of those new workouts when they come in as well just to see how I like them. If I do, I'll do the 4wk Beginner's Turbo Jam workout, 6wk Slim in 6, 4wk Advanced Turbo Jam, Yoga Booty (not sure length on that), 4wk Rip You Up TJ rotation. Not sure where I'd go from there but that gives me several months of stuff to do and I'd continue to add some type of walking/jogging in a few times a week and I should be back to KSW if not next month, than after the HM at the latest. Need to see how training for that is going because if I can only do one, I'm doing the HM training and no sense spending money on classes I'm not taking.
Eating yesterday wasn't great but things should be better today. Made sure to grab a protein bar before my walk and now it's time to get a full meal in. Going to plan menus for the week as well so I can add those into my tracker too. It feels like it's starting to come together again.
