Rest is Good

We've spent the weekend basically napping. Both of us are worn down to nubs and it tells. A week of not much/good sleep has taken its toll. Later on is grocery shopping and getting ready for work. My classes have gone well. I've made 100 on all but one of my tests and assignments. One more week of classes to go until I begin training week after next.
Sleep is so important. Without it, life grinds down to a halt. I've noticed as I get older, it's harder and harder to recover from bad nights. One or two and I can soldier on, much beyond and I'm a zombie. I took naps Friday night, stayed up till hubby gets home and then yesterday I piddled with dishes and cooking, napped, piddled, napped and went to bed early. Today, I napped a couple of hour this morning. Up and about now.
Got to re-set a mailbox the snow plow took out. In a couple of feet of snow. Should be fun. Got to take Dixie to PetsMart for a nail trim. Pick up groceries before the shelves are bare. Fill up my truck with gas. Pay bills and fix dinner.
I had read somewhere that the temps were supposed to warm up this week but they were wrong. 30's all week and snow twice is forecast. Don't guess it's going to improve anytime soon. Weatherman said today was the only day we'd have sun for 7-9 days. I'm counting the days until April. Sunlight, garden, long walks, fun. Life again. Right now, just getting by.
